An online booking engine for your campsite website
Add a campsite online booking engine to your own site so guests see live availability, book a pitch or unit and pay by card — direct, with no commission. Free to start for small sites.
An online booking engine for campsites lets guests book and pay on your website in two minutes — so the booking lands in your diary while you are out on the mower.
Live availability, real prices
The booking engine connects to your live CampSuite™ diary, so the dates and prices guests see are always real. When a pitch or unit is taken it disappears from the calendar straight away, which means double bookings are simply impossible.
See the booking diary →Direct bookings, no commission
Bookings through your own website are direct, so there is no OTA commission to pay. Guests pay a deposit or balance by card via Stripe, and the money settles straight to your account — not held by a middleman.
See payments →Drop it on your WordPress site
If your website runs on WordPress, the CampSuite™ plugin puts live availability and secure booking right inside your own pages. No redesign, no developer — just install it and add a booking block.

A clean, simple booking flow that works on any phone: pick dates, choose a pitch or unit, pay a deposit, get an instant confirmation. No accounts to create, no clunky redirects.

Live availability and real-time pricing, taken straight from your diary.
How a guest books online
Check the dates
The guest picks their arrival and departure dates and sees, in real time, exactly what is free — pulled live from your diary.
Pick a pitch or unit
They choose a touring pitch, hardstanding, pod or lodge, with the right price for those dates and any rules applied automatically.
Pay a deposit by card
They pay a deposit or the full balance by card through Stripe. The payment is secure and the money settles straight to you.
Instant confirmation
The booking lands in your diary and the guest gets an instant confirmation email — no manual entry, no double bookings.
Own your bookings
Listing sites like Pitchup are genuinely useful — they put you in front of travellers who have never heard of you, and you can connect them through the channel manager so the dates stay in sync. But every booking that comes through them carries commission. When you take a campsite booking online through your own site, you keep that money.
So the smart play is to use the OTAs for reach and steer your returning guests to book direct. A booking engine on your own website is how you do that — and if your site needs a refresh first, our campsite web design service can build you a fast, bookable site that earns its keep.

Embed the booking page or link a button
The simplest way to add online booking to your campsite website. Embed the hosted booking page in a page, or link a Book now button to it. This works on any website, on any platform, with no plugin needed.
The WordPress plugin
Running WordPress? Install the CampSuite™ WordPress plugin to show live availability and take bookings inside your own design. The plugin uses the API, so it is on paid plans (from £10/month CL/CS Pro), not the free Express plan.
Online booking engine questions
What is a booking engine and do I need one?
A booking engine is the part of your website that lets guests check live availability, choose dates and a pitch or unit, and pay — without phoning or emailing you. If you want to take campsite bookings online, you need one so the dates and prices guests see are real and each booking lands straight in your diary. The CampSuite™ online booking engine connects to your live diary, so availability and pricing are always accurate and double bookings are impossible.
Will it work on my existing website or WordPress?
Yes. There are two ways to add it. You can embed the hosted booking page or link a Book now button from any website, which works on any platform. Or, if your site runs on WordPress, you can install the CampSuite™ WordPress plugin to show live availability and take bookings directly inside your own pages. There is more on this in our guide to the WordPress booking plugin for campsites.
How do guests pay?
Guests pay a deposit or the full balance by card during booking. Payments run through Stripe, which is secure and trusted, and the money settles straight to your own account — you are not waiting on a third party to pay you out.
Do I pay commission on direct bookings?
No. Bookings taken through your own website are direct bookings, so there is no OTA commission to pay. Listing sites like Pitchup are still useful for reach, and you can connect them through the channel manager, but every booking you win direct is cheaper because you keep the commission.
Is the online booking engine free?
The hosted booking page is free on the Express plan for small CL and CS sites, where guests pay a £1.50 fee per online booking. Paid plans start at £10/month for CL and CS Pro, which removes the guest booking fee and unlocks the API and WordPress plugin. There are no contracts and you can cancel any time. See pricing for the full range of plans.
Add online booking to your campsite website
It takes about 15 minutes to set up. Free for small sites, no card needed, no contracts.
