Your campsite booking diary, online and on your phone
A digital campsite booking diary with your pitches down the side and dates across the top. See availability at a glance, add or move a booking in seconds, from the office or out on the pitches. Free for up to 100 pitches.
A booking diary you can carry in your pocket, that can't be lost, spilled on or left at home, and that blocks dates as soon as they are taken.
Why campsite owners switch to a digital booking diary
One live diary, every device
The same campsite booking calendar opens on your phone, your partner's tablet and the office computer. Add a booking on the gate and it is there for everyone the moment you tap save, no more flicking through a paper book or two people writing in different copies.
See how booking management works →Prevent conflicting pitch bookings
When a pitch is booked for a set of dates, CampSuite™ automatically blocks dates that are already booked, helping prevent conflicting pitch bookings. The same applies whether the booking came in by phone, by email or online.
How to avoid double bookings →Bin the paper book
Everything a paper diary does, without the things that go wrong with it. No lost book, no rain-smudged pages, no "I think that pitch is free". Just a clear, tidy record you can search and trust.
Replace your paper diary →Pitches down the side, dates across the top, bookings in colour
This is the view you will live in. Coloured bars show who is on which pitch and for how long, so you can see this weekend's availability without adding anything up. Tap a bar to open a booking, tap an empty cell to add one, and drag to move a party to another pitch.

A real campsite availability calendar, read it at a glance, edit it in a tap.
From paper diary to phone
Most CL and CS owners we meet have run their site from a paper diary for years, and it mostly works, until the day it doesn't. The book is in the caravan, you are in the field, and the phone is ringing with someone asking about next bank holiday. You take the booking on a scrap of paper and hope you remember to write it in.
Moving to a digital campsite diary fixes exactly that. You take the booking on the phone in your hand, on the spot, and it is logged. The diary travels with you, it is the same for everyone, and nothing depends on a scrap of paper surviving the day.

Add your pitches
List your pitches and spaces once, grass, hardstanding, hook-up, tent, whatever you have. They become the rows down the side of your booking diary.
Take a booking
When the phone rings, tap the pitch and the dates and save. It takes seconds, and the dates are blocked right away, so you are not offered a pitch that is already taken.
See availability at a glance
Scroll the calendar to any week and the gaps are obvious. Empty cells are free, coloured bars are booked, no counting, no cross-referencing a separate list.
Add online bookings (optional)
Happy with the diary? Leave it there. Ready for more? Switch on online bookings so guests fill the gaps themselves, straight into the same diary, day and night.
Paper diary, spreadsheet or CampSuite™?
Plenty of well-run sites still work from a paper book or a spreadsheet, and for a handful of pitches that can be perfectly sensible. Here is what changes as a site gets busier.
| Capability | Paper diary | Spreadsheet | CampSuite™ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Works across several devices | No | Sometimes | Yes |
| Shared live availability | No | Limited | Yes |
| Blocks dates already booked | No | No | Yes |
| Online booking support | No | No | Optional |
| Search guest history | Difficult | Possible | Yes |
| Accessible from around the park | No | Awkward | Yes |
| Automatic guest messages | No | No | Yes |
Which one suits you depends less on preference than on how often two things happen at once. On a five-van CL taking a handful of bookings a week, a paper book rarely lets you down. Once you are fielding calls while you are out on the pitches, or more than one person is writing in the book, the gaps start to show, and that is usually the point owners move across. A spreadsheet solves the legibility problem but not the availability one: it will happily let you type the same pitch twice. If you are weighing up the middle option, our free campsite booking spreadsheet template is a fair place to start, and you can move the same information into CampSuite™ later.
Campsite booking diary questions
Is the campsite booking diary really free?
Yes. The free plan is free forever for up to 100 pitches, the full product with unlimited bookings. There is no card needed and no contract. On the free plan guests pay a small £1.50 fee on online bookings; if you would rather cover it yourself, Put it on me is £2 + VAT a unit a month, capped at £99 + VAT, with no guest fee. Channel management is an optional add-on at £10 + VAT a month for CL and CS sites and beyond. See pricing for the full range.
Do I have to take online bookings to use the diary?
No. You can run CampSuite™ purely as a booking diary, adding every booking yourself by phone, email or at the gate, just like a paper book that cannot be lost or rained on. Online bookings are optional. You can switch them on whenever you are ready, and switch them off again if you prefer.
Can more than one person use the diary at once?
Yes. Everyone sees the same live diary on their own phone, tablet or computer. When one person adds or moves a booking, it appears for everyone else, so you and your partner or warden are not working from different versions of the book.
What happens if I lose signal?
Previously loaded booking information may remain visible if your connection drops, although an internet connection is required for live updates and for making changes. Most owners keep the diary open on their phone as they walk the park, and it picks straight back up when signal returns.
How is this different from a paper diary or spreadsheet?
A paper diary can be lost, spilled on or left at home, and only one person can hold it at a time. A spreadsheet is easy to overtype and will happily let you double book. CampSuite™ is a live, shared diary that blocks dates automatically so the same pitch is not offered twice, and it is on every device at once. More on replacing the paper diary.
Put your booking diary on your phone
It takes about 15 minutes to set up. Free for up to 100 pitches, no card needed, no contract.
