The short version

One diary for the whole park, on the laptop and in your pocket

CampSuite runs the day to day of a park. The diary, the arrivals, the money owed, the jobs that need doing before Friday teatime, all in one place instead of a book, a spreadsheet and three inboxes. It works on the laptop in the office and on the phone in your pocket, so nothing grinds to a halt when you walk down to the service point. Free for up to 100 pitches means the whole product, with no expiry and nothing held back, and your rates and payouts are in euro throughout.

Week one

What actually changes

Three things people notice almost straight away.

1

The diary stops being paper

Pitches down one side, dates across the top. Tap a bar to see who is in it. Tap a gap to put someone in it. Nothing to rub out in pencil when a family rings on Thursday to add two more nights.

2

Two vans never get the same pitch

Taken is taken. The second a pitch goes, on the phone or online, it closes everywhere else. No more standing at the gate on a bank holiday Saturday explaining to two families that they have both booked the same hardstanding.

3

The evening admin gets shorter

Confirmations, reminders and arrival directions send themselves. Payments land against the booking they belong to. What is left is the part of the job you actually wanted, which is talking to guests.

The diary

The whole park on one screen

Touring pitches, hardstandings, seasonal pitches and pods all sit in the same grid. Colour tells you what is confirmed, what is arriving today and what still has a balance on it. Narrow it to one pitch type when you are planning a busy weekend, or leave it wide and watch the park fill.

Guests book and pay in euro, on your own website

Your booking page sits on your own site, so the guest is yours rather than a listing site's. Someone off the evening ferry can check what is free at eleven at night, pick a hardstanding, pay and get their confirmation while you are asleep. The rates on screen are the euro figures you typed in. If you are also listed with Failte Ireland or on the big travel sites, nothing about that changes. The difference is that a booking taken on your own page has no commission coming out of it.

The fee

Free for you. €1.75 for the guest.

The free plan costs you nothing for up to 100 pitches. When a guest books online, one flat €1.75 is added to their booking, whatever they book and however long they stay.

Pitch, one night, example€35.00
Booking feeSecured by CampSuite€1.75
Guest pays€36.75

One flat fee, and only online

The €1.75 is charged to the guest, not to you. It does not come out of your pitch price and it never passes through your account. Book a family in yourself, by phone, by email, at the gate or on a walk-in, and there is no fee at all.

It is flat, so it does not grow with the booking. One night in a tent or a fortnight in a fully serviced bay, it is the same €1.75. If you would rather your guests never saw a fee, the Put it on me plan is €2.75 per unit a month, capped at €137.50 a month, which is 50 units, and the fee comes off the guest's screen entirely. Card processing is Stripe's own rate, paid to Stripe. We add nothing on top of it.

Euro in, euro out

You set your rates in euro. Guests are charged in euro. Stripe takes the money as your Irish business and pays out to your own Irish IBAN by SEPA. There is no sterling price hiding underneath and no conversion in the middle. The figure a guest pays is the figure you typed in.

On the ground

The office is wherever you happen to be standing

Very little of a park owner's day is spent at a desk. Check tomorrow's arrivals while the grass is being cut. Take a booking from the motorhome that has just pulled up at the barrier. Mark a pitch as serviced. Chase a balance on a booking made back in February. It is the same system as the desktop, just shaped for one hand and a phone.

Who it is for

Parks of every shape, from Donegal to Waterford

A field with five pitches behind the farmhouse does not need what a hundred pitch park with a shop and a bar needs. Both need to know who is arriving tomorrow. CampSuite scales down as happily as it scales up. Small parks get a diary they can set up in an afternoon and run from a phone. Busier operations get pitch types, seasonal rates, deposits, staff logins and reporting that tells you what the shoulder season is really worth.

Caravan and touring parks are usually juggling three things at once: touring pitches that turn over constantly, hardstandings that go first, and seasonal pitches let for the year. Motorhome stopovers and service points have the opposite problem. Short stays, late arrivals off the boat, and guests who decide where they are sleeping somewhere around teatime. Neither has to bend the system into a shape it does not want to go.

Glamping is its own business again. Pods, shepherd's huts and safari tents are let by the unit, they need a changeover between guests, and the jobs that go with that need tracking. If you run pods alongside touring pitches, and plenty of parks now do, they share one diary rather than two systems.

Already on another system, or still on paper? Moving across is the bit everyone dreads, and it is the bit we do with you. Bring your forward bookings, your pitch list and your rates, and keep taking bookings the whole time it is happening.

Included, not extra

The bits other systems charge you for

Every plan carries the full toolkit, the free one included. Nothing sits behind an upgrade.

Why CampSuite

A proper system without the proper price tag

Most booking systems want a monthly fee before you have taken a single booking. This one does not.

Free means free

Up to 100 pitches, no card, no countdown, nothing held back until you upgrade.

Priced and paid in euro

Rates in euro, guests charged in euro, payouts to an Irish IBAN. Your own VAT position is unchanged and stays yours.

Ready this afternoon

A wizard asks about your park, your pitches and your rules, then you are taking bookings. No project, no onboarding fee.

Nobody is forced online

Keep answering the phone and taking cash at the gate if that is how your park runs. The diary does not mind.

Built by a motorhomer

Rob Heeley started CampSuite after too many stays where booking the place was the worst part of a good site.

Add on when you need it

Channel management is €12 a month. A custom domain is €6. Bolt them on later, or never.

The questions Irish park owners ask first

Free for up to 100 pitches, and it is the full product rather than a trial. The one charge on the free plan is a flat €1.75 booking fee, and the guest pays it, only on bookings made online. Take the booking yourself by phone or at the gate and there is no fee at all. You never pay us a cent.

Euro. You type your nightly rates in euro and that is exactly what shows on the guest's screen and on their card statement. Nothing is converted from sterling on the way through. Stripe then pays out to your Irish IBAN in euro.

Through Stripe. Your account is set up as an Irish business, takes payment in euro and settles to your own Irish bank account. You connect it during setup and it takes a few minutes. Card processing is Stripe's own rate, paid straight to Stripe, and CampSuite adds nothing on top.

No. Plenty of parks start with the diary alone, keep answering the phone and keep taking cash on arrival. Online booking is a switch you flick when you are ready. You can also open it for some pitch types and keep others on the phone.

If you can use a smartphone, you can use CampSuite. There is no training course and no manual to wade through, just a setup wizard asking plain questions about your park. If you get stuck, ring +44 1228 581035 or email hello@campsuite.net and a person will answer.

That is a tailored plan, priced on application. Tell us how many pitches and how many parks and we will come back with a figure. You get the same product, the same free extras and the same people picking up the phone.

Ready to put the paper diary down?

Sign up and you can be putting pitches in the diary this afternoon. It costs nothing for up to 100 pitches and there is no card to enter. If you would rather talk it through with someone first, ring +44 1228 581035 or email hello@campsuite.net.
