At eleven at night, a website that says ring us sends the booking to the park down the road. Guests pick their dates, choose a pitch and pay without ever leaving your site, and the booking drops straight into your diary. No listing site in the middle and no commission off the top.

Most caravan and camping parks already have a website. It has the photos, the directions and the phone number, and then it says ring us or email us. That is the moment a booking quietly goes somewhere else. A booking engine is the part that takes the dates and takes the money at eleven at night, while you are asleep.
Whatever your website is built on, one of these will fit. None of them needs a redesign, a rebuild or a developer on a retainer.
The quickest route by a mile. Your booking page is hosted and ready, and a button on your site sends guests to it. That works on any website, on any platform, whatever age the design is. You could have it live before lunch.
If your site runs on WordPress, install the CampSuite™ plugin and put live availability and the booking form inside your own pages, in your own design. The plugin and the API behind it are included on every plan, the free one as well.
No website worth booking on yet? The website builder is included, so you can put together a quick, mobile-friendly site with the booking engine already in it. Your own domain on the front of it is €6 a month if you want that too.
Very few people book a pitch sitting at a desk. They book from the passenger seat with a sailing to catch, or on the sofa after the kids have gone up. Big touch targets, short forms, no account to create, and no jarring hop to a page that looks like a different company entirely.

The start of a real booking flow, exactly as a guest meets it on their phone.
Six steps, about two minutes, and not one of them needs you.
They choose arrival and departure and see what is genuinely free, read live from your diary. Not what was free when somebody last updated a spreadsheet.
Grass, hardstanding, fully serviced, motorhome bay, glamping pod or shepherd's hut, each with the right rate for those particular dates.
Adults, children, dogs, awning, van length. Ask for what you actually need and let your own rules do the filtering, so a nine metre motorhome never lands on a small grass pitch.
Firewood, an electric hookup, a second car, a late arrival. Sold at the one moment a guest is already reaching for their wallet rather than three emails later.
A deposit or the full amount, by card, through Stripe. It is priced in euro because you set it in euro. Nothing is converted from anything and no rate moves underneath you.
The guest gets a confirmation email straight away and the booking is in your diary before you have finished your tea. Nobody retypes it, so nobody mistypes it.
Listing sites earn their keep. They put a park on the Wild Atlantic Way in front of somebody in Lyon or Liverpool who has never heard of it, and the channel management add-on at €12 a month keeps your dates in step so you are not retyping availability in three places. But a booking that arrives that way carries commission every single time, including from the family coming back for their fifth August in a row. Taken on your own website, that same booking carries none. Use the listing sites to be found. Give the people who already know you a reason to book direct.
See how channel management works →The booking engine reads your live diary, so what a guest sees is what you actually have. You decide what it is allowed to sell, and when.
There is no monthly bill for the booking engine on the free plan. When a guest books online, one flat fee is added to their booking and that is the whole of it.
Booking confirmation
The fee is €1.75 flat, however many nights, however many pitches, however many people are on the booking. It is our charge to the guest rather than a slice of your money, so the pitch price you set is the pitch price you charge.
It is only ever charged on a booking taken online. Anything you take yourself by phone, by email, by walk-in or at the gate is never charged at all. If you would rather your guests never saw a fee, the Put it on me plan covers it for them at €2.75 per unit a month, capped at €137.50 a month, which is 50 units.
Take a deposit when they book and the balance on arrival, or take the lot up front. That is your call, and it can be set differently for a glamping pod than for a touring pitch. A deposit does two useful jobs. It puts real money against a date, and it quietly filters out the enquiry that was never going to turn up anyway.
Card payments run through Stripe. Your account is set up as an Irish business, takes euro and pays out to your own Irish IBAN by SEPA. Stripe's processing rate is Stripe's own, paid to Stripe, and CampSuite adds nothing on top of it. Your park's VAT position stays yours and is not changed by where a booking came from. There is more on how payments work for an Irish park.
Everything a guest pays is priced in euro because you typed it in euro. No conversion, no rate that shifted between the booking and the payout, no awkward explanation of why a total looks different from the number on your website. If you are still weighing up options, the guide to choosing a booking system covers what else to look at, and Irish pricing lists the lot, including what happens above 100 pitches.
No. If you have a website you are happy with, keep it. A Book now button or an embedded booking page works on any site, whatever it was built with and whenever it was built. A new site is only worth thinking about if the one you have is slow or awkward on a phone, and even then the website builder is included free, so it costs you an afternoon rather than a budget.
Yes. The CampSuite WordPress plugin shows live availability and takes the booking inside your own pages, so a guest never feels handed off to somewhere unfamiliar. It is included on every plan, the free one as well, and so is the developer API if whoever looks after your site would rather build something bespoke.
Your park, not us. Dates, what is free, the price for those exact dates, a card payment and an instant confirmation email. There is no account to create and no password to forget. You can walk the whole thing through yourself on the live demo before you show it to a single guest.
Yes, and nothing here pushes you to stop. Phone calls, emails, walk-ins and online bookings all land in the same diary, so availability stays right no matter which way a booking came in. There is never a booking fee on one you took yourself.
About fifteen minutes to get your pitches, rates and rules in, then a few minutes more to connect Stripe. Putting the button or the plugin on your website is a job for one quiet evening. Most of the work is deciding your own rules, not wrestling with software.
Then it is quoted to fit, in euro. Send a note to hello@campsuite.net or ring +44 1228 581035. That is written in international format so it dials straight through from Ireland. A real person answers and will tell you honestly if CampSuite is the wrong shape for your park.
Free for up to 100 pitches, no card needed and no contract to sign. Set it up yourself in about fifteen minutes, or book a demo and we will walk through it with you.
