Every price, out in the open

CampSuite™ is free for up to 100 pitches, and that is the full product rather than a trial with a clock ticking on it. Here is the whole price list for an Irish park, what your guest sees at the checkout, and where every cent goes.

Let your guests chip in

CampSuite is free for you. When a guest books online we add a small €1.75 fee to their booking. You keep every cent of your pitch price.

Free€0 a month, for up to 100 pitches

It is genuinely free, not a trial. Your pitches, glamping units and hardstandings all count towards the 100. Bigger than that? See the larger-park plan below.

  • The whole of CampSuite, with no limit on bookings
  • Bookings you take by phone, email, walk-in or at the gate are never charged
  • The €1.75 is our charge to the guest, so it never touches your takings
  • Nothing to pay while you are closed for the winter

Put it on me instead

Rather your guests paid nothing extra? Cover it yourself with one set fee for every unit you let, the same for a grass pitch, a pod or a shepherd's hut. You pay for the units you have, never for ones you do not.

€71.50a month, nothing added

€2.75 a unit a month with nothing added to it, and never more than €137.50. The cap arrives at 50 units.

  • No booking fee for your guests, ever
  • You only pay for the units you have, one set fee for each, and it drops when you close some
  • The bill stops climbing at 50 units, so a park of 100 pitches pays the same as a park of 50
  • Switch back to free whenever you like, nothing is locked in

Where your money goes

Your booking money is yours from the moment a guest pays. It never sits with us.

1

Your guest pays you

They pay by card on your own booking page, into your own Stripe account, set up as an Irish business and taking euro. We are the software in the middle, not the merchant.

2

It is yours straight away

The full pitch price lands in your Stripe balance and pays out to your Irish IBAN, even when somebody books in February for the August bank holiday weekend. You are not waiting for the guest to arrive before you see the money.

3

We collect our bit separately

On the free plan the €1.75 is collected from the guest by us, on its own. It never comes out of your takings and never enters your Stripe balance, so your payouts match your pitch takings to the cent.

Is “free” really free? CampSuite charges you nothing. Card payments are handled by Stripe at their own published rate, paid straight to Stripe out of the payment, the same as any online till anywhere. We do not add a cent on top and we take no cut of your pitch price.
At the checkout

What your guest sees when they pay

On the free plan the booking fee appears on its own line with our name against it, next to your pitch price. It never looks like you have quietly put your rates up.

Your regulars can see at a glance that the fee is ours and not yours, which matters when somebody has been ringing you every May for fifteen years. And a guest who would rather not pay it has an obvious way out. They ring you, they email you, or they turn up at the gate. Bookings you take yourself are never charged, whatever they are worth.

If you would rather no guest ever saw a fee at all, that is what the Put it on me plan is for. The line simply is not there. Same product, same booking page, one fewer thing to explain at reception on a wet Friday.

Everything CampSuite does, on every plan

Nothing is held back on the free plan. It is the full product, for up to 100 pitches. The only difference is who pays the €1.75, and whether your guests ever see a fee.

The CampSuite booking diary, with pitches listed down the side, dates across the top and bookings shown as coloured bars.
The booking diary: pitches down the side, dates across the top, no double-booking guesswork.
The CampSuite mobile dashboard, for running a park away from reception.
The same park in your pocket when you are down at the gate.

Nothing is held back on the free plan: online bookings, the booking diary, check in and out, card payments in euro, guest messages, your guest list, pitches and accommodation, glamping and pods, invoices, reports, job sheets, the website builder, site maps, WordPress booking, the API and unlimited staff logins. Two optional add-ons work on either plan: showing your park on other websites, and using your own web address. They are just below.

Optional add-ons

Off unless you want them, the same price on either plan, and easy to pause when you close for the winter.

Show your park on other websites (channel management)

List on Pitchup, Hipcamp and more, kept in step with your own calendar so you never double-book. Those sites still charge their own commission; this is the plumbing that keeps your availability honest across all of them.

€12a month

Use your own web address (custom domain)

Put your park on a web address you already own, in place of the free CampSuite one. Worth having if your park name has been on a leaflet in every ferry terminal for a decade.

Nothing is added to the prices above

The figure on this page is the figure you pay. There is no second line underneath it at the checkout.

CampSuite is a UK company registered for UK VAT, so a subscription sold to a VAT-registered park in the Republic is outside the scope of UK VAT: we do not add it, and there is no UK VAT sitting on your invoice for you to try to reclaim from a country you do not file in. It is a cross-border supply between two businesses, so the reverse charge applies and you account for it on your own Irish return in the ordinary way, where for a park reclaiming in full it nets to nothing. €2.75 a unit is what leaves your account, and €137.50 is the most that can leave it in a month.

If your park is not registered for VAT, the position can be different, and we would rather tell you that than quietly assume. Ask us and we will confirm in writing what you would pay before you pay anything. The same care applies to the €1.75 a guest pays: it is the whole charge and a guest is never asked for €1.75 plus something, but the treatment behind it is with our accountants and we are not going to print a figure here that we have not had checked.

Closing for the winter?

Plenty of Irish parks shut for a stretch and open again for the shoulder season. Your booking page stays live throughout, so you keep taking bookings for next year. Here is what happens to your bill while the gate is shut.

On "Let your guests chip in"

Nothing to pay

You were never on a monthly, so closing costs you nothing. A park in Donegal that shuts at the end of October pays nothing in January, and any advance booking for next season carries the usual €1.75 guest fee whenever it happens to come in.

On "Put it on me"

You choose

Either pause the monthly and let winter bookings carry the guest fee, or keep paying it so nobody ever sees a fee, even at Christmas. We email you before your plan starts up again in spring.

You set your own open and closed dates, and taking the odd winter tourer will not catch anyone out with a surprise charge. Deposits you have already taken sit in your own Stripe account throughout, and the way payments work does not change one bit while you are shut.
More than 100 pitches?

Running a bigger park?

More than 100 units, or several parks under one owner? Our larger-park plan is shaped around your group, with extra hands-on help to get you set up. Tell us how many touring pitches, hardstandings, seasonal vans and pods you actually have and we will price it properly.

Get in touch Ring +44 1228 581035 or email hello@campsuite.net and we will build a plan that fits.

What you get with a larger-park plan:

  • Room for 100+ units and several parks
  • Hands-on help getting set up and moved across
  • The same flat rate, with no per-pitch creep
  • A real person to call when you need one

Founder-led

Built by someone who actually camps

CampSuite is founder-led. Rob Heeley started it in a motorhome, fed up with campsite software that was overpriced and overcomplicated. This price list is what happens when the person setting it has queued at a barrier in the rain himself.

You do not have to belong to anything to use it, either. No club, no association, no approved supplier list. If you are listed with Failte Ireland or on a county tourism site, that carries on exactly as it is and we do not sit between you and any of it.

It is free for up to 100 pitches, no card and no catch, so there is honestly no reason not to give it a go. Read our story →

Straight answers about the money

The guest booking fee

Is the €1.75 per booking, or per night, or per pitch?
Per booking. One flat €1.75 however many nights the guest stays, however many pitches they take and however many people are in the party. A fortnight in two hardstandings costs the same €1.75 as one night in a small tent. If a guest pays a deposit online and settles the balance on arrival, it is charged once, on the deposit.
Why €1.75? Is it a sterling price converted?
No. It is a price list written in euro for Irish parks, not a sum done against this morning's exchange rate. Your guests are charged in euro, your payouts land in euro, and if you choose Put it on me your monthly bill is in euro too. The fee on a booking taken in February is the fee on a booking taken in August, so nobody, you or your guest, ever has to check a rate to know what a booking costs.
Is the €1.75 refundable if the guest cancels?
No. It is a single charge the guest pays us for booking online, and it is not refunded if the stay is cancelled later. Your own deposit and cancellation terms are entirely separate and work exactly as you set them. If a booking looks shaky, or you would rather a particular guest was not charged at all, take it yourself by phone, by email or at the gate, where there is never a fee.
Whose €1.75 is it, for my books?
It is our charge to the guest, not yours. It never passes through your account or your takings, so it stays off your books completely: nothing for you to record, raise or reclaim.

VAT

Is there VAT on top of the €2.75?
Not for a VAT-registered Irish park, no. We are a UK company registered for UK VAT, and a subscription sold to a business in the Republic falls outside the scope of it under the reverse charge, so nothing is added to your invoice and you account for it on your own Irish return. €2.75 a unit and €137.50 at the cap is what actually leaves your bank. If your park is not VAT registered, ask us before you sign up and we will confirm your position in writing rather than guess at it.
What about my own VAT?
Yours is unchanged, and it is nothing to do with the paragraph above. Whatever you charge, register for and account for on your own pitch rates today is exactly what you charge, register for and account for after you start using CampSuite. We do not alter it and we would not presume to advise on it. The rates you set are the rates your guests pay, your full pitch price reaches your own account, and your accountant carries on as before.
Do I get an invoice for what I pay you?
Yes. Anything you pay us comes with a clear monthly invoice in euro, ready to download whenever your accountant wants it.

Getting paid in euro

Do I need an Irish bank account?
You need a euro account with an Irish IBAN for Stripe to pay into, held in your business name or your own. Your Stripe account is set up as an Irish business, takes payment in euro and pays out to that IBAN. We walk you through connecting it during setup and it takes a few minutes, not days.
Is anything converted from sterling on my booking page?
No. You set your rates in euro and euro is what everybody sees. Put €35 in a pitch rate and €35 is what the guest is charged, what lands in your Stripe balance and what reaches your bank. No exchange rate sits between your rate card and your account, so the price you set in January is still the price in August.
Will my takings still reconcile?
Yes. Because the €1.75 never enters your Stripe balance, your payouts equal your pitch takings to the cent.

The plans

Can I move between the plans in the middle of the season?
Yes, in either direction, whenever you like. It is rolling monthly with no minimum term and no leaving fee, so a park that fills up in July can cover the fee itself for the summer and drop back to free in September. Bookings already taken are unaffected, and money already in your Stripe account stays exactly where it is.
Where exactly does the cap kick in?
At 50 units. Put it on me is €2.75 per unit a month, so the bill climbs to €137.50 and then stops. A park with 60 pitches, a park with 80 and a park with 100 all pay the same €137.50. Over 100 units, or several parks under one owner, is a tailored plan.
Do my pods and hardstandings cost the same as a grass pitch?
Yes, that is the whole idea. Every bookable unit is the same set fee, so a grass pitch, a hardstanding, a seasonal van and a glamping pod all count the same €2.75, which makes a high-value pod your best value. And the guest fee is flat per booking whatever the price, so a full week in your best pod adds the same €1.75 as one night in a small tent.

Getting started

How long until I am taking bookings?
Most small parks are taking bookings the same afternoon, once your pitches, your euro rates and your Stripe connection are in. Bigger parks we help set up over a few days, and there is no point in the year when it is too late.
Will you move my existing bookings across?
Yes, and it costs nothing on either plan. We import your current bookings and guest list, set up your pitches and your euro rates with you, and get your booking page live without a gap in the middle. How moving across works.
Do I have to give card details to start?
No. The free plan is the full product, free for up to 100 pitches, with no card needed and no time limit. If you ever choose Put it on me to cover the guest fee yourself, that is the only point you would add a card.

Your contract and your data

Am I tied in?
No. It is rolling monthly, with no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Stop whenever you like.
If I leave, can I take my guest list with me?
Yes. Export your bookings and full guest list to a spreadsheet in one click, any time. It is your data and it always was.
What if I leave, or CampSuite disappears?
Your bookings and deposits sit in your own Stripe account and your own records, so they stay valid and refundable whatever happens to us. You are never locked in through your guests' money.
