What your guest sees at checkout, on the free plan

The fee is clearly ours, on its own line. It never looks like you have quietly put your pitch price up.

Your booking
Hardstanding pitch, one night£30.00
Booking feeSecured by CampSuite, incl. VAT£1.50
Total£31.50

Clearly labelled

Your regulars can see the £1.50 is a booking fee, not you charging more for the same pitch.

If a guest would rather not pay it, they can ring, email, or turn up at the gate, and there is never a fee.

Prefer no guest ever saw a fee? Every paid plan removes that line entirely, starting with Grow.

Included on every plan, including Free

The multilingual campsite operating system

CampSuite runs in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch and Italian. Your guests book in their own language while your team works in theirs, and we never charge a penny for it. One platform for the UK and Europe, not a British product with translation bolted on.

Modules and usage

What is charged separately, and why

Three things sit outside the subscription, because not every park uses them and one park should not subsidise another.

Custom web address

Guests book at book.yourpark.co.uk instead of an address of ours. Included from Park.

£5 a month + VAT (£6 inc VAT for UK parks)

Caravan and motorhome storage

Storage spaces, contracts and recurring invoices. It is a separate business on the park, so it is priced as one.

From £15 + VAT a month

SMS

For the message that has to arrive. Email and guest comms are included on every plan.

5p + VAT per outbound text

None of it is compulsory and none of it switches itself on. What you do not use does not appear on your invoice.

Common questions

Questions about price

The free plan

Is the free plan a trial?
No. It is free while you have up to 10 bookable units, with no expiry date and no card needed. What does change on the paid plans is reach: Starter takes the guest booking fee away and adds iCal calendar links, and the Channel Manager, Xero, seasonal pitches, the site map designer, the API and advanced reporting all start at Grow.
What counts as a unit?
Anything that books separately: a grass pitch, a hardstanding, a lodge, a glamping pod. If a guest can book it on its own, it is a unit.
What happens if I go past 10 units on the free plan?
We tell you before it becomes a problem and you choose. Nobody finds their diary locked on a Saturday in August because they added one pitch too many.
Whose £1.50 is it, for my books?
It is our charge to the guest, not yours. It never passes through your account or your takings, so it stays off your books completely: nothing for you to record, raise or reclaim. It applies on the free plan only.
Is the £1.50 charged per booking, or per night or per pitch?
One flat £1.50 per online booking, however many nights, pitches or people. If a guest pays a deposit online and the balance at the gate, it is charged just once, on the deposit.

Paying for CampSuite

I am an existing customer on the old free-to-100-pitches plan. What happens to me?
You keep the plan you joined on. If anything has to change for you we will contact you directly and in good time, rather than by a note on a web page.
Why does Grow cost more than a basic booking tool?
Because it is not one. Grow includes the Channel Manager, Xero, seasonal pitches, the site map designer, granular permissions, automation and the API, and it removes the guest booking fee. Systems that charge less either charge separately for those or do not have them.
Is the price per park or per group?
Per park. One park is one licence, because a second park means separate inventory, availability, staff, payment configuration, channel mappings and reporting. Once you need those managed centrally, that is Group, and volume is negotiable there.
Do you charge per user?
Never, on any plan. Reception, housekeeping, maintenance, your accountant and your seasonal staff should all have their own secure login, and charging by the seat is how a park ends up sharing one.
Can I change plan mid-season?
Yes, both ways and whenever you like. If the park grows in mid-August you move up and pay the difference pro rata. If you close for winter you move down. Rolling monthly, no minimum term, no cancellation fee.
Is the price with or without VAT?
Every subscription price on this page is shown before VAT, which is how business software is quoted, and the switch above the plans shows them with VAT too. UK parks have 20% VAT added to the invoice, and a VAT-registered park reclaims it as usual. Euro accounts are not charged VAT. The £1.50 guest fee is the whole amount the guest pays, with nothing added to it.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. Anything you pay us comes with a clear monthly invoice, ready to download whenever you need it for your records.
Am I tied in?
No. Rolling monthly, no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Stop whenever you like.

Your money

Where does my booking money go, and when?
Guests pay into your own Stripe account, connected to CampSuite. The full pitch price is yours from the moment they pay, including on a booking made months ahead, and we never hold or pool your takings. Stripe then pays it out to your bank on the payout schedule on your own Stripe account, which you can see and change in your Stripe dashboard. A brand new account is usually verified before its first payout, so that one can take a little longer than the ones after it.
Do I keep the full pitch price?
CampSuite keeps none of your pitch money on any plan. The only deduction on a card payment is Stripe's standard fee (about 1.5% + 20p), exactly as it would be with any online till.
Do I need a business bank account?
A personal or business account is fine. We help you connect Stripe when you set up, and it takes a few minutes.
Is there a setup fee, or a charge to move from my current system?
Neither. We move your pitches, rates and forward bookings across for you, and we do not charge for it.
Do my pods and lodges count the same as a grass pitch?
Yes. Every bookable unit counts once, whatever it earns, so a high-value lodge is your best value on a per-unit plan. There is no CampSuite booking fee on a paid plan whatever the booking is worth.

Start today, on the plan you need today

Set your park up in an afternoon: pitches, rates, seasons and your first online booking. Move up whenever the park does, and down again when the gate shuts for winter.
